| Gurahl are loners by nature. We aren't wererabbits, so our numbers don't increase all that much. Add in the dwindling numbers of our kinfolk and the various wars in our history, and it leaves a thin population. Contrary to what some of the ratkin think in theme parks, it isn't a small world. There's a lot of ground to cover, and not enough protectors to go around. I myself cover most of the Florida region. |

| That isn't to say we never see each other. On the contrary, we have a few annual gatherings both locally and globally. There is also the fostering of cubs to consider. New cubs are taught by their Buri-Jaan, or mentor, for about a year known as their Gallavant. They have free reign to revel in their newfound abilities while they learn the way of the Gurahl. There is plenty of time later to take on serious responsibilities. |
